You can also use basil, which kills mosquito eggs, along with peppermint that repels ants and spiders for your window boxes and along with your patio too.

If you need more bang for your bugs, eucalyptus trees have a powerful fragrance and not only keeps the bugs away the oil for the tree kills mites, whiteflies, and sand flies. Another option is the camphor tree, which works like a big citronella candle. Repelling mosquitos isn't the only thing this tree does; its green foliage is stunning and is a great anchor to your outdoor landscape.
